Musicians Battle: Opening Day LA Dodgers

I recently attended opening day at Dodger Stadium for a sold out game against the Arizona D-backs (or D-Bags according to a few t-shirts being sold).

Before the game, while walking through the parking lot, from a far I heard the faint sounds of “Tamborazo”, which is essentially a Mexican Marching Band. They attracted HUGE crowds, lots of dancing and all around good time.

As we continued walking, we ran into a Ragtime Band playing near the entrance. Their crowd was significantly smaller, but they did manage to get a sympathy dollar donation from one of the latinos in attendance.

The marketing lesson here is obvious.

Viva Los Dodgers!!!

Magnetic Sponsoring, 2.5 Margaritas & an Aston-Martin

So what can I say? I just happen to be strolling through Austin, TX and decided to give Mr. Dillard a call so I can stop by and say “hello” since I just happen to be in the neighborhood.

(Real Story: I flew to Dallas for a seminar, but I arrived 3 days early, so I rented a car and drove down to Austin to watch Mike press the Big Read Launch Button for ‘Building on a Budget’.)

So I phoned and asked Mike if it was ok if I stopped by. AND before he had a chance to answer, I rang the door bell. (Asking is simply a formality in today’s age.)

“Ferny Wonka” and the Magnetic Sponsoring Factory

Just like I expected, Mike Dillard opened the doors wearing a big black tophat and welcomed me into the magical world of the Magnetic Sponsoring factory. I met the queen of the factory, Steph (Mike’s girlfriend).

Aside from the elves who ran around turning the cranks to keep the Magnetic Sponsoring Community running, the sofas stuffed with 100 dollar bills and the waterfalls of Xango juice, the place looked pretty normal.

Mike had been watching the numbers come in for ‘Building on a Budget’ with an iinquisitive look on his face.

Apparently, one of the M.S. elves had tripped while turning the crank and caused the system to have a failure on Internet Explorer. Needless to say, Mr. Dillard was none too pleased, yet he handled the problem with a sense of humor.

The problem was resolved after he laughed at making such an obvious mistake, and then the tour of the factory continued.

What I saw I cannot possibly describe, but let’s just say that I was exposed to the secrets as to how everything you see on Magnetic Sponsoring comes to life.

Mike literally snaps his fingers and the elves mobilize to make things happen.

(Real Story: Mike calls the MS programmers on his iPhone :)

Mike and Ferny Go For a Ride

So after a hectic morning, Mr. Dillard took off his top hat and put on his sun glasses. He led me to the back of the factory and we walked through crystal doors. Behind the door stood this growling monster…

I gotta say, you can’t get any closer to riding in the Space Shuttle than riding in this thing with Mike behind the wheel.

I made the unfortunate mistake of pointing at a button with an image of a car with skiggly lines under the wheels and asked, “What does that button do?”.

He said, “Let me show you…”

Whaaam! In under 1 second he managed to ramp to 3 G’s, the Aston-Martin starting skidding and I turned pale white, (I’m naturally a dark beige).

2.5 Margaritas and “Queso” at Polvos

So after our adveture through Downtown Austin and being seemingly invisible to police radar, we arrived at a ‘hole in the wall’ joint called, ‘Polvos’ that looked like the walls were going to cave in… It’s an clear sign of some good eatin’.

There I had some of the best margaritas I’ve ever had, (paid for by Justin and Tim Erway’s share of Magnetic Sponsoring, LLC. Thanks, guys!).

After some masterminding, my 2.5 margaritas and the best ‘queso’ this side of the rio grande, we hoped back into the ‘spy car’ and headed back to the MS factory to make sure things were running smoothly.

From Dead Broke to MLM Millionaire

Back at the “factory”, I asked Mike a little bit about his life before MS and if you aren’t familiar with his story, it’s pretty pathetic (no offense, Mike).

Mike was literally living off the dollar menu of Taco Bell, had no furniture in his small apartment and pawned his DVD’s to survive. Every cent he earned went towards “building” his MLM business.

I use the term ‘building’ loosely, because he did a lot of the same stupid things most MLM’ers continue to do today, (i.e. buy generic leads, sizzle cards, 3 foot rule, prospect at cafes, cold calling, etc.)

Are you doing any of these?

He told me about having been mentored by Joe Schroeder, Robert Blackman and learning the way they did business and then applying their teachings to the internet.

Mike discovered that the most important thing to spend your money on in any business, was not leads, flyers and other prospecting “tools”. The most important thing was investing in yourself to develop the skills to do business online.

So essentially, the new “Building on a Budget” course is Mike’s way of giving YOU what he had learned from Joe and Robert, but updated for the Web 2.0 world. On top of that, Mike knows better than anyone what it is like to be in dire straits and needing to find success.

It’s amazing to know that story, then experience the millionaire lifestyle Mike has created for himself after having lifted himself out from the MLM gutter. And this isn’t anything that is unavailable to anyone.

The only difference is the time, effort and education Mike is providing in his course.

My visit with Mike ended with a few more margaritas and enjoying a great view of Lake Travis:

I thanked Mike his hospitality, tour of the MS factory.

It’s important to remember that Mike, (even with the tophat), is as human as you and I are. The only difference is that he was focused and willing to do what others weren’t willing to do.

His Magnetic Sponsoring course for me, was what started me on a journey, which would lead me to quiting an 80,000 per year job that I hated and building a multiple six figure company in just over a year.

All of Mike’s courses are must haves, because the alternative is living off the dollar menu from Taco Bell and being dead broke for 6 years, like Mike was.

You’d be silly not to take advantage of his knowledge.

Carbon Copy Pro

by Jay Kubassek

In the winter of 2004, I was 25 years old and close to burning myself out as an employee at Midas where I was working 50-60 hours a week selling mufflers. Ironically, I couldn’t even afford a new muffler for my own beat up ’94 VW. Instead of enjoying my weekends, I spent them hating the fact that Monday was just around the corner. I felt stuck earning a measly $50,000 a year and had no savings or disposable income. My credit cards were maxed out as well. I was so sick of being broke and unable to afford the finer things in life that it made me resent anyone that actually did have any money, and that’s never a good way to spend your life. It felt like such a pathetic existence for me.

In addition to that job, I had also spent close to three years in the home-based business industry trying to make some extra money so I could quit my job. Affiliate marketing, referral marketing, direct marketing network marketing, MLM, pyramids and ponzi schemes… I tried every money game and income opportunity out there. All I had to show for it were my two maxed out credit cards and a whole lot of wasted time.

Then one day while I was in my usual routine of hating my job and feeling pissed off at the world, I stumbled across an interesting website. It looked a lot like the others that you see full of hype and tons of “You can do it too!” rhetoric, riddled with promises of a huge income. This website talked about this guy who was making 1000 bucks a day from home in some online marketing opportunity. I filled out a short survey form and waited three days for him to call me back. When he finally called me back I told him my goal was to make $50K a month, just to see what he would say. His response was simple: “Sure, I can show you how to do that.”

“Yeah right,” I laughed. Though I was skeptical, I got started anyway and signed up despite the voice in the back of my head saying, “Sucker.” I quickly felt like once again I was on my own. I felt like I was being thrown to the wolves. I was embarrassed and pissed off. To even start that business, I had spent over $2000 of cash I had borrowed it and had to pay it back in full so failure was NOT an option. I channeled my anger, confusion, and frustration. I reflected on the years of struggling and what my life would be like if I didn’t make this happen. I decided to suck it up and figure it out.

Giving it everything I had,I chose to put my three years of trial and error to use. Eventually, I got something to stick. I started to build some momentum and within a few weeks I had earned back the amount it took to get started. Within 90 days of figuring out a few more marketing secrets, I started making some real money. This was my first real taste of success and let me tell you, it was sweet! I was actually making more at home part time than I was bringing home from the muffler job. Then the day finally came where I walked into work and fired my boss. Talk about an empowering feeling. I drove home that day with an unimaginable feeling of liberation. A long-desired vacation had finally come, only this time it was permanent.

I was psychologically unemployable at that point and nothing was going to stop me.

In the following six months I was making $20k-$30k a month. I was able to pay off and get rid of my credit cards along with a lot of other bills that had piled up over the years. I soon bought my first house, putting 20% down in cash and then spending close to $100,000 installing a new kitchen and backyard with Japanese gardens and goldfish ponds. I gave my old VW to a relative and bought two brand new cars, one of them a custom built BMW. In the tenth month I earned my first $100,000 and that led to earning close to $500,000 in commissions the first year. I changed my focus to helping others create what I had done for myself.

I’m not telling you my rags to riches story to brag at all. I came from very humble roots and like many people, struggled for years. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and almost everything I know is self-taught. I learned the hard way, on my own, and for the most part without any help or support from my supposed mentors. I want you to understand why I decided build my marketing system and eventually develop CarbonCopyPRO. What you give is what you get. I wanted a $100,000 a month residual income and the only way I knew how to get that was to help others get the success that they wanted as well.

In 2004, I recruited an Australian man named Alan Moore. He was a brilliant marketer and we instantly hit off, becoming great friends. We worked on a lot of marketing stuff together and very quickly mastered Google along with all the other search engines. We both started making a lot of money but we never forgot about our members. In fact everything that we figured out, we posted on our website for the other members to use. Years of trial and error were eliminated for them and in turn we were able to quickly build a very large group of marketers. Then one day, one of my members forwarded me a link to another group of marketers who had stolen all of our training modules, tips, and tricks. They had plagiarized all of our materials, re-branding everything as their own. I was furious. How could these guys take credit for all of our experience and hard work?

I made a quick phone call to my partner down-under and within a few hours he had figured out how to password protect our website. This put and end to the plagiarism and was the genesis of our marketing system. It wasn’t called CarbonCopyPRO back then. In fact we didn’t even have a name for it. (If you go to alexa.com and search for “oneyearplan.net” you will be able to trace all the way back to April 14, 2004 and see the evolution of our system.) We started out with a few dozen members using our strategies and by 2006, we had over 500 members paying to use our marketing system to help eliminate their learning curves.

Somewhere along the way I coined the term “Carbon Copy Marketing.” The system continued to evolve. We continued the tradition of allowing all of our members to copy everything that I created and found it to be effective. I spent my own money split-testing and tweaking the system so that our new members had the best possible training system. Everyone got to benefit from our success. This in turn generated more residual income and the chance for everyone involved to benefit.

In the summer of 2007 my friend Aaron Parkinson, whom I had met almost four years earlier at my first live marketing event, called me. He had spent a year building a marketing system but wasn’t getting to where he wanted fast enough. We bounced some ideas off each other and we were eager to collaborate on some new concepts. Alan and I got our heads together and decided to bring Aaron in as partner. We quickly got to work. After hundreds of hours of programming, CarbonCopyPRO was launched after three months. The only way to describe the success of PRO is that it was astounding.

Members of our business started making $20K, $30K and even $50K a month rather quickly after getting started. The primary company that we were marketing for had no idea that our new system was going to be so successful, and neither did we for that matter. Their sales were up almost 500% within 30-60 days. We were on a vertical growth curve. Our in-house call center was closing the sales for our members who no longer had to spend months learning how to sell or close sales.

Even Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring and Brian Fanale of MLM Lead System Pro are giving positive CarbonCopyPRO Reviews. Overnight, we defined ourselves as the industry leader in the world of online marketing systems. The success of our CarbonCopyPRO is the direct result of a couple of guys simply wanting to share their success with their new members. Our primary intention was to be able to look in the eyes of our new members and tell them “Yes, you can do this too,” and then be able to provide them with all of the tools and training they would ever need.

Coffee House Letter

If you’re looking to achieve financial freedom from home, specifically through a “MLM” or network marketing opportunity, you’re in for a rude awakening my friend.

If you’re already in that trench, fighting with every breath you’ve got for much less money than it’s worth, it’s not your fault… The times have changed.

What we’re about to share with you right now may anger some, but will help countless others.

You see, the industry is changing rapidly and the purpose of this “Coffee House Letter” is to warn you, or at least make you aware of some very unsettling insights that need your immediate attention if you plan to make more than $10,000/mo in from home in 2008 and beyond.

Whatever you do, read this document thoroughly. We took out every sentence that wasn’t relevant to keep the length as short as possible, so if it’s in these pages, consider it information that is absolutely vital.

Now we’re going to go ahead and assume that you’re either pursuing a home business of some kind right now, or that you have pursued one in the past. If you’re in neither group, then consider yourself extremely fortunate, as the information in this letter will save you years of blood, sweat, tears, and money.

So what’s going on?

Well, in a nutshell, the promises of old-school MLM and “life-long” residual income are all but dead for the average person. They have been cut down at the knees by an unlikely culprit whom I’ll reveal to you in a minute.

I know you’ve seen the symptoms. In fact, I guarantee they are plaguing your organization at this very moment… But what you might not understand or give proper respect to is the cause behind them.

My Questions to You Are These:

Is your organization being depleted by constant attrition?

Is your downline full of complaining reps who need constant hand-holding?

Are you tired of working your tail off for a few hundred or few thousand dollars when you feel like you should be making ten times more for your efforts?

Sick of the “gotcha” comp plans that cut your check in half with the “get 3, who get 3, who get 3″, structure requirements?

I hear you friend… And You’re not the only one.

Right now, network marketing is in a struggle to find itself in a time where people leave as fast as they join, the cost to sign a new rep has sky-rocketed, and when “newer, bigger, and better” dominates the landscape which basically means…

Trying To Build A Downline In The Internet Age
Is Like Trying To Fill A Leaking Bucket.

You can get ahead of the curve for a while if you have the time, money, and energy, but it’s only a matter of time before it will drain dry.

Yes, it’s a brave new world for network marketers, but fear not…

In an industry where hype and the pre-launch have become the norm, a growing trend is quickly gaining popularity with professional networkers who are sick of the 3-ring circus MLM has become.

It’s A Concept Called G.P.T., And It’s Going
To Play A Major Role In Networking From
This Point Forward.

No, G.P.T. is not a company. It’s not an opportunity, and it’s not a product or system of any kind.

It’s an answer. A solution to tiny checks, leaking downlines, and the “quick turn” mentality that has taken over MLM.

It will allow you to put tens-of-thousands of dollars of cash into your pocket in weeks and months… Not years. But the best part about G.P.T., is that you won’t even have to build a downline.

MLM as You Know it is Dead…
And the Internet Killed It.

Network marketing has always been based on the idea of working for 3-5 years and building a life long residual income that you can will to your grandkids.

Sounds good…

And it may have been true at one time, but not today. Not anymore.

Now, now… I’m not insane.

I promise.

Let me show you what I mean by such a (true) statement…

Stand with me for a moment atop our private mountain, and look out over the entire network marketing industry…

It’s not pretty, but in one word here is what you’ll find…
